Tenerife’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Bus Timetables Explained

Tenerife Interurban Transport (Titsa), a division of the Cabildo de Tenerife, will adjust the start and finish times of its services on December 24 and 25 in celebration of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Short-distance lines will carry out their final service between 6:10 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. In contrast, long-distance routes will have their last departure scheduled to enable all services to conclude by approximately 8:15 p.m.

As for December 25, the bus service will commence at 08:10 in the morning, aligning with the standard holiday timetables for each line.

The schedules for all services can be checked on the website www.titsa.com, the Titsa service hotline at 922.53.13.00, or via the company’s social media platforms.

Most Popular Lines

  • The lines 014 and 015 will have their last departures towards La Laguna at 8:16 p.m. and 8:20 p.m., respectively, while in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, they will depart at 8:05 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.
  • Line 026, connecting Santa Cruz and La Laguna, will see its last departure from the capital at 7:50 p.m., with the return trip from La Laguna also at 7:50 p.m.
  • Line 101, linking La Laguna to La Orotava, will have its final departure from La Laguna at 7:45 p.m., while the last trip from La Orotava will be at 7:50 p.m.
  • Lines 102 and 103, which link Santa Cruz with Puerto de la Cruz, will depart for the final time from Santa Cruz at 7:25 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The last trips from Puerto de la Cruz will depart at 7:35 p.m. for line 103 and 7:55 p.m. for line 102.
  • Additionally, line 108, connecting Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the Los Realejos link, will have its final departure from the capital at 6:10 p.m. and from Icod de los Vinos at 7:00 p.m.
  • Line 010, connecting the capital to the South airport, will operate its last service from the Santa Cruz Interchange at 7:40 p.m., with the return trip scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Services to the South

  • Line 110, which connects Santa Cruz with Costa Adeje, will make its final journey from the capital at 6:45 p.m., while the return journey will depart at 6:55 p.m. Similarly, line 111 will connect both locations on the Island for the last time at 6:55 p.m. from the capital and at 7:25 p.m. from the south.
  • Line 120, connecting Santa Cruz with Güímar, and line 122, connecting Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Candelaria, will both leave for their final services that night at 7:40 p.m. from the capital Interchange and at 8:05 p.m. in the return direction.
  • Furthermore, line 473 will depart at 6:30 p.m. from Los Cristianos and at 7:20 p.m. from Los Gigantes. Meanwhile, line 467 will have its last departure from Costa del Silencio at 7:30 p.m., and La Caleta at 7:30 p.m.
  • Services on lines 104, 137, 410 and 711 will not be available during the night of December 24 to 25.

Urban Service of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The scheduling for Christmas Eve will also impact the urban service lines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The lines 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 908, 909, 910, 911, 912, 917, 919, 923, 933, 934, 935, 936, 937, 939, 940, 945 and 946 will perform their final services from the Interchange between 6:20 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., varying by route.

Circulars 914, 920 and 921 will make their last departures at 8:35 p.m., 8:20 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. from the Interchange, respectively.

The remaining unrelated lines will continue to operate with their usual weekday timetables, while the services for 970, 971, 972 and 974 will not occur.

La Laguna Urban Service

The lines of urban service of La Laguna will also experience changes.

The lines 204, 206, 217, 219, 224, 260, 270 and 271 will conclude their services between 7:30 p.m. and 8:05 p.m., depending on the specific line.

All other routes, 201, 203, 253, 274 and 275, will continue operations as per their usual weekday schedules.
