Storm Dorothea has struck the Canary Islands this weekend with hurricane-strength wind gusts, resulting in various damages, particularly on the western islands. La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro, and Tenerife have been under maximum alert due to the winds, with some of these islands classified at a red alert level. In certain areas of Tenerife, wind gusts have been recorded at over 200 km/h.
