SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE 15 December (EUROPA PRESS) –
The rainfall and gusty winds that have triggered alerts in the Canary Islands have resulted in landslides on roads and disruptions to power lines in the western islands over the past few hours.
This was reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 112, which noted that, in all instances, these events have not impacted individuals or vehicles.
In particular, the adverse weather has led to issues with electricity supply in certain areas of El Hierro.
Meanwhile, in Tenerife, the winds created barriers on the roads and also caused incidents with the power lines.
