The arrival of storm Dorothea in the Canary Islands has resulted in a weekend marked by meteorological instability throughout the Archipelago. Electrical storms, rainfall, and winds potentially reaching 120 kilometres per hour are set to persist in the Islands over the coming hours, as per the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). This weather has necessitated the cancellation of activities across the region and the suspension of classes in multiple areas on Monday.
