The Cabildo of Tenerife has today (Saturday the 14th) initiated the Tenerife Island Emergency Plan (PEIN) in response to the severe wind alert affecting the Island. As a result, it has implemented closures of leisure and camping sites and has prohibited access to forest paths and tracks.
