The Guía de Isora Town Council has initiated a tender process for the administrative concession of the kiosk situated on the seafront of Playa San Juan, as announced last Wednesday in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP).
This public area will be utilised for commercial purposes as a bar-cafeteria, through an open procedure. Interested parties have a window of 30 calendar days to submit their applications for participation.
As outlined in the document, the concession period for the space will initially last for 10 years, with the possibility of a further extension of 5 years, commencing from the day following the formal signing of the administrative contract.
The monthly fee to be remitted by the successful bidder has been set at 830 euros, resulting in a total amount payable to the town council of 99,600 euros over the 10-year concession period.
The primary criterion for awarding the contract, which accounts for 50% of the evaluation, is economic in nature.
The remaining scoring elements concentrate on tangible enhancements, which encompass the provision of containers made from recyclable materials specifically designed for collecting minor waste, such as chewing gum, pipes, or cigarette remnants.
Another requirement is the establishment of a Wi-Fi connection during the operating hours of the establishment.
