The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through the Central-Iphara district, will initiate a diverse array of Christmas activities this Sunday, December 15, featuring a Christmas Market in Residential Anaga. Under the guidance of Councillor Purificacion Dávila, the programme will commence on Sunday and conclude on January 5, including musical performances, workshops, a gift-wrapping service, and character entertainments.
“The events will principally take place in the afternoon, catering to all age groups, particularly focusing on younger children,” the councillor remarked, adding that “these complimentary activities will provide yet another reason to relish our district during the festive season.”
On Sunday 15, Anaga Residential Square will feature a Market and Food Trucks area from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. There will be a children’s zone offering Christmas-themed inflatable craft workshops and a candy factory starting at 4:00 p.m. Music will play a central role with performances from the Big Bang Jazz Tamos at 12:30 p.m.; the Vocal Group Allegro Nivariense at 6:00 p.m.; Celso Rodríguez performing an hour later at 7:00 p.m.; and Ana Obando will bring the evening to a close at 8:00 p.m.
On Monday 16, Plaza Duggi will present a Christmas Children’s Party, providing guaranteed fun for the youngsters from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Furthermore, on the 19th, the Plaza will host a concert featuring the Artistic Union El Cabo, with guest artist Luis Morera, at 8:00 p.m.
Continuing with the festive programme, on January 4, Plaza de la Llavita will offer a morning filled with surprises for children through a festive party, commencing at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 1:00 p.m.
Finally, with the approach of the arrival of the Magi, on January 4 and 5, designated areas will be set up in the district for gift wrapping services.
