Participation Lineup for the 2025 Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival

The Autonomous Body of Festivals and Recreational Activities (OAFAR) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council conducted the lottery this afternoon that established the sequence of participation for the groups entered in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2025 within their respective competitions.

The proceedings unfolded in the event hall of the Fairgrounds, where the councilman in charge, Javier Caraballero, was present. A considerable crowd associated with the festival gathered for the draw, along with representatives from all carnival groups.

Consequently, over a hundred groups now possess knowledge from today regarding the sequence in which they will showcase their performances in the various contests and competitions included in the 2025 Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The draw encompassed the categories of children’s and adult murgas, children’s choreographic groups, senior groups, rondallas, musical groups, and comparsas, and was determined as follows:

CHILDREN’S MURGAS COMPETITION

First phase. Friday, February 7, 7:00 p.m. Tenerife Fairgrounds

The finale of the adult murgas competition is scheduled for Friday, February 14, commencing at 8:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds and will feature the participation of the eight groups achieving the highest scores in the earlier phases.
