Following the support from CC, PSOE, and Unidas Sí Podemos (the local administration), along with the abstention of the PP (the mayor from NC was not present), the Güímar assembly has sanctioned the expropriation of 6,727 square metres of public land in Tasagaya. This area is situated within the principal service zone, extending from the rear of the health centre to Secundino Delgado Street (located behind the Civil Guard headquarters and the building accommodating a Hiperdino) and Arístides Hernández Mora Street (across from the former IES Mencey Acaymo).
