A seismic event measuring 3.3 in magnitude was registered in Tenerife. The tremor was detected at 15:04 on Sunday and experienced in various locations. The epicentre was located in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, situated in the northern region of Tenerife, as reported by the National Geographic Institute (IGN).
This seismic activity occurred at a depth of approximately 20 kilometres and was sensed in the Tenerife municipalities of Fasnia, Güímar, Candelaria, Los Realejos, Tacoronte, El Sauzal, La Orotava, La Matanza, and La Guancha.
Around twelve hours prior, an earthquake of 1.5 magnitude was detected in the Tenerife municipality of Buenavista del Norte.
