A man tragically lost his life while scuba diving in the southern region of Tenerife this Saturday, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre 112 of the Canary Islands Government.
The individual, aged 42, was involved in the incident around 12:32 p.m. when an emergency alert was raised after a diver in cardiorespiratory arrest was pulled from the ocean off the Arona coastline.
Crews from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived promptly and administered both basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques to the diver, but unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful, leading to the confirmation of his death.
