SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Nov. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Officers from the National Police have detained today, Wednesday, the leader of the Civil Protection Volunteer Group of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, Santiago Carlos Martín, as confirmed by official sources from the National Police Corps to Europa Press.
The judicial authority has imposed a secrecy order on the investigation, thus the sources consulted have been unable to disclose the alleged offences of which Santiago Carlos Martín is accused, which led to his arrest this morning.
In addition to leading the Civil Protection Volunteer Group, Santiago C. Martín also serves as coordinator of the SOS Desaparecidos association in the Canary Islands, and as of yet, no official communication has been issued by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council regarding his detention.
