The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through its Public Services, Health, and Environmental Sustainability department, announces that the recent water quality tests conducted at access point number 8 of Las Teresitas beach are positive, allowing for the reopening of this area, and thus, swimming is permitted once again.
The Health Inspection and Laboratory Service of the Tenerife Health Area from the Canarian Health Service (SCS) communicated today the results of these tests, which have shown normal parameters following yesterday’s routine assessments, conducted periodically to identify any signs of contamination in the water.
The Council reminds residents that municipal personnel collect water samples and perform regular checks to ensure that Las Teresitas beach is maintained in proper cleanliness, hygiene, and health conditions, making it suitable for bathers.
