The Municipal Operational Coordination Centre (Cecopal) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council announced this Tuesday, November 12, via its social media platforms, the closure of a section of the popular Las Teresitas beach following the discovery of a disturbance in the microbiological parameters affecting the bathing water quality, where a red flag has already been hoisted.
Bathing is forbidden between access points 5 and 8 (inclusive) due to water pollution, which may pose health risks to swimmers.
It is anticipated that updated information regarding the water quality and subsequent actions will be provided in the following hours.
