A 79-year-old woman received assistance on Wednesday following a fire that erupted in her residence on Avenida de Belgium, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., a notification was received by 1-1-2 regarding a fire in a home’s patio, which affected several personal items and spread to an adjoining patio.
CECOES mobilised the required emergency services, while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and ventilate the premises.
Medical personnel attended to a woman suffering from smoke inhalation and subsequently transported her to La Candelaria University Hospital.
