In the early hours of the morning, a significant tree collapsed on Veinticinco de Julio Avenue in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The tree was situated on a pedestrian walkway adjacent to García Sanabria Park.
Firefighters from Tenerife, along with the City Hall’s Parks and Gardens team, undertook the clearance operations throughout the night, necessitating the closure of the affected section.
Although the Local Police reported this morning that traffic had resumed, the situation has once again altered. Following a technical assessment of the trees in the vicinity, it has been determined that the lane of Avenida Veinticinco de Julio extending from Los Patos square to Numancia street will remain closed.
