Three days of cutting-edge fashion, catwalks, local, national and international designers; a thousand attendees, fifty models, numerous local enterprises and brands, music, entertainment, live makeup and hairstyling demonstrations… The Arona More Than Fashion By The ShowRoom Mag revolution, which is celebrating its inaugural edition, will continue until tomorrow in the vicinity of the Golden Mile in Playa de Las Américas.
“Tenerife is becoming the hub of international fashion, an exceptional showcase for the commercial and hospitality sectors of the Canary Islands and the Arona municipality, featuring renowned names from both national and international runways alongside figures from culture, business, and media,” stated Antonio Rosales, the event organiser, during yesterday’s presentation.
The Arona mayor, Fátima Lemes, emphasised that “our municipality has always been a source of inspiration for various types of artists, and it represents a gateway to the world. In this instance, we are hosting a fashion show where notable national and international designers will showcase their creations.” Lemes commended the participation of Ukrainian fashion creators, congratulating them for their resilience and determination. Additionally, the Councillor for Economic Promotion and Tourism, Dácil León, noted that this event signifies “a unique opportunity to strengthen Arona’s status as a key destination, enhancing its visibility on both national and international fronts while fostering economic activity in the municipality and supporting local enterprises, thereby showcasing Playa de Las Américas as a premier platform for the latest trends.”
