Ten volunteers from the Solidarios Canarios association will have to wait for a week before returning home to Tenerife from Gambia. This predicament is concerning for them; however, it has also brought a stroke of luck for the 340 children at the Jalokoto School, which the Tenerife residents established in 2018. The children were once again filled with excitement at the sight of the volunteers, who had visited the school a week earlier to assess its operations.
