The natural heritage of the Canary Islands is unparalleled. Although they comprise the same archipelago, the eight islands exhibit significant variations among them, which enables each to showcase distinctive traits based on the location we explore. For instance, the western islands are characterised by their mountainous terrain, having a geological youthfulness compared to their eastern counterparts, which are more worn away.
