SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14th Oct (EUROPA PRESS) –
Three individuals have sustained injuries following a traffic incident that took place on Monday along the TF-13 road, near the entrance to Bajamar, within the municipality of La Laguna (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 1 -1-2.
The incident happened shortly after four o’clock in the afternoon, when the 1-1-2 emergency room received notifications regarding a collision involving three vehicles, one of which had completely overturned.
Cecoes promptly deployed the required emergency services, with firefighters from the Consortium arriving at the location; a medicalised ambulance alongside another basic life support unit from the SUC, Local Police, Civil Guard, and staff from the Road Maintenance Service.
Upon arrival, the firefighters assisted the SUC personnel in providing medical attention to the victims and secured the vehicles involved. Medical professionals evaluated the individuals in the cars concerned in the incident and ultimately three of them were necessitated to be taken to hospital, although their injuries were not severe.
Law enforcement officers compiled the necessary report and directed traffic along the route, as the incident caused considerable delays.
