SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE 4 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
On Thursday afternoon, Maritime Rescue apprehended a canoe carrying 63 migrants in waters close to the coast of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The migrants were taken to the Los Cristianos dock in Arona (Tenerife), where they received assistance from the local health services, which included the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Primary Care, and the Red Cross.
Ultimately, three of the migrants required transfer to a hospital.
