Granadilla Greenlights Plans for 59 New Affordable Housing Units

The Directorate of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, via the Canary Islands Housing Institute (ICAVI), has approved this Wednesday the administrative contract file for the drafting of the basic project and execution of 59 publicly promoted residences in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife.

This initiative encompasses the construction of the homes along with the development of subprojects related to electrical installations, fire safety systems, thermal installations, plumbing, sewage, and telecommunications, as outlined by the Government in an announcement.

Furthermore, management of construction and coordination of health and safety will be considered throughout the duration of the project.

The overall investment totals 519,158.05 euros, including IGIC, split across two lots.

The first lot, assigned to the Cuevas de Cho Portada site, will involve an investment of 395,763.84 euros, whereas the second lot, designated for the Poncela site, will receive 123,394.21 euros.
