SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Island Council has announced that the blaze, which ignited shortly before 4:00 p.m. in the Araca ravine, in a transitional zone close to the Igueste de Candelaria cemetery, is now under control, according to sources from the organisation to Europa Press.
The fire has impacted an area of approximately 1,000 square metres, primarily involving ‘rabo de gato’ and tunera vegetation. Two high mobility tactical vehicles (Vamtac) alongside Brifor, personnel from the Tenerife Fire Department and Local Police have been deployed to the scene.
