VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), 14 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A cayuco carrying a total of 57 sub-Saharan migrants – 53 men, one woman and three minors – reached the island of El Hierro on Saturday morning, as reported by Maritime Rescue.

Specifically, the unregistered vessel docked at La Restinga Pier at approximately 8:50 a.m., where its passengers were attended to by the standard medical team for such situations.

In this context, the Red Cross noted that 57 individuals received assistance at the port, with one needing to be transferred to a hospital.
