SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 11 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has reported the occurrence of as many as ten tremors in the vicinity of the Enmedio volcano, situated between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, with magnitudes ranging from 1.6 to 2.6.
Furthermore, seven of these tremors transpired within a span of just over 25 minutes and at significant depths, varying from 26 to 38 kilometres.
On Tuesday afternoon, an additional tremor was detected, measuring 3.8 in magnitude, positioned north of Gran Canaria, near Santa María de Guía. This was felt by residents across several municipalities on the island and occurred at a depth of 18 kilometres.
