The National Police have dismantled a cocaine distribution hub in the central region of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, confiscating 16,340 euros in cash, 2,100 grams of cocaine, six grams of MDMA, a large machete, and an electroshock device.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the National Police revealed that two individuals were apprehended in partnership with the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife as part of an anti-drug operation, following a warrant-authorised raid on a residence in the urban centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The incidents took place last August when, following a thorough investigation, officers proceeded to detain two adult males suspected of engaging in retail drug trafficking.
The detained individuals, who have prior convictions for similar infractions, face allegations of drug trafficking and were subsequently remanded in custody by the appropriate judicial authority.
