The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecasted for this Saturday in the Canary Islands partly cloudy or clear conditions, with the exception of the northern areas of the more mountainous islands, where there may be early morning light and scattered showers. Temperatures are expected to remain stable, accompanied by moderate winds blowing from the north and northeast.
At higher altitudes, the winds will be light, with variable directions, and on the high peaks of Tenerife, the westerly winds will strengthen to a moderate breeze by the afternoon.
Regarding sea conditions, winds from the north and northeast are anticipated at strengths of 3 or 4, potentially reaching 5 in some areas, alongside rough waters and occasionally high waves. On the western, southwestern, and southern coasts of the islands, wind intensity is expected to vary from 1 to 3, resulting in choppy seas or small waves. A northerly swell is anticipated, producing waves of 1 to 2 meters in height.
