A 33-year-old male sustained moderate injuries around 4:40 a.m. on Thursday when he was assaulted on Avenida Arquitecto Gómez Cuesta in the municipality of Arona (Tenerife) and subsequently plunged three metres down a ravine.
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the injured individual upon arrival, treating him for various moderate wounds, after which he was transported by a basic life support ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.
Meanwhile, officers from the National Police took responsibility for initiating the necessary legal proceedings.
