Officials in the Canary Islands disclosed on Thursday that a one-year-old infant was rendered homeless this week after it was revealed that he was residing on a rooftop with his mother and her partner in the municipality of Arona.
The authorities communicated via social media that the trio spent the night on the rooftop, prompting them to refer the matter to the General Directorate for the Protection of Children and Families, as well as the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
