Firefighters in Tenerife rescued an individual in a moderate state of health on Tuesday afternoon after he fell into a gorge in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The accident happened just before 7:30 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of the Canary Islands Government (CECOES) 112 received a notification indicating that a man had plummeted into the Barranco de Santos.
Following the rescue, SUC personnel provided treatment and arranged for his transfer to La Candelaria Hospital while officers from the police initiated the requisite procedures.
