In the southern region of Tenerife, one of the structures along the motorway has been removed as part of efforts to alleviate traffic congestion. The bridge that spanned the TF-1 at Las Chafiras, situated in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona, was brought down early on Saturday morning. This significant action is part of the initiatives undertaken by the Department of Public Works of the Canary Islands’ Government to enhance traffic flow at this location, which is known for experiencing considerable delays.
