SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Aug (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 65-year-old Belgian motorcyclist tragically lost his life on Friday afternoon following a collision with a car on the TF-47 road, close to Callao Salvaje, in the Adeje municipality (Tenerife).
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 112, the Tenerife Fire Department personnel rescued the injured motorcyclist so that he could receive assistance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).
Medical experts confirmed that the individual was in cardiorespiratory arrest and carried out both basic and advanced resuscitation techniques, regrettably without success, leading to the confirmation of his demise.
The Civil Guard launched an investigation, while the Road Maintenance Department undertook the task of clearing the roadway.
