The Puerto de la Cruz City Hall has reported through its social media platforms a recent act of vandalism that has been taking place since August 19 at the People’s University, which has hindered the smooth execution of the summer courses planned.

Multiple images depict the damage inflicted on the primary access door to the facilities. The team from the Municipal Maintenance Services has engaged in inspecting, fixing, and operating the door to address the issues caused by the improper use of wooden sticks in the locking mechanism.

The council has already implemented measures to guarantee the safety, efficient operation, and comfort of all attendees participating in the training courses.

The City Council urges a “return to the civic culture that has historically defined the residents of El Puerto.”
