SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 22 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Island Council has added an electric van to support the initiatives undertaken by the Environmental Participation and Volunteering Office.
Present at the event were the Minister for the Environment, Sustainability, Security, and Emergencies, Blanca Pérez; the CEO of Ideco, Manuel Gómez; and the manager of Arimotor Tenerife, Miguel Crispín.
Blanca Pérez expressed gratitude for the provision of the vehicle, which will aid in the various activities conducted by the Environmental Participation and Volunteering Office.
“This is a cargo, electric, and sustainable vehicle that aligns with our commitment to enhance and honour the environment,” she remarked in a statement.
Meanwhile, Miguel Crispín mentioned that “it is a delight” to collaborate with the Tenerife Office of Participation and Environmental Volunteering and to supply a 100% electric vehicle “that maintains all capacities compared to the petrol version.”
The Environmental Participation and Volunteering Office of the Tenerife Island Council, managed by the public company Ideco, aims to channel the initiatives and concerns of citizens to engage in the stewardship and enhancement of the island’s environment.
