Advisories for coastal areas
Due to the deteriorating sea state and to mitigate risks, it is advisable to delay maritime or sporting activities and refrain from swimming at isolated or unmonitored beaches.
Additionally, if you observe unusual waves, it is essential to remain away from the shoreline, even if conditions appear to suddenly improve.
To avoid placing yourself in peril, it is crucial not to stand on piers and jetties, or linger in areas near the sea where you might be impacted or swept away by the waves.
For safety reasons, it is significant to remember that swimming is forbidden on beaches marked with a red flag and that instructions from lifeguards and rescue personnel should always be adhered to.
In case of any emergency, it is vitally important to dial 112 without delay to request assistance.
