The Mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, along with the Councillor for Housing, Alexis Hernández, announced yesterday that, during the latest regular plenary session of the City Council on 24th July, the final approval was granted for the free transfer of a plot in the Los Barros area to the Canarian Housing Institute (Icavi). The purpose of this transfer is for residential use, intending to construct publicly-promoted protected housing.
Prior to the transfer, these plots were municipality-owned and span a total of 968.93 square metres. The deed indicates a buildable area of 2,906.79 metres spread across three floors, as detailed by the Realejos Town Hall.
