The president and secretary of the CC management committee in Puerto de la Cruz, along with the councillors who endorsed the motion of censure against the PSOE on the 16th, Alonso Acevedo and Diego Montero, urged the party’s members and supporters to attend an extraordinary assembly scheduled for this Friday, starting at 20:00, at the Marqueza hotel.
The sole agenda item will be the censure and the formation of the government with the PP and ACP, despite the fact that the motion has already been tabled and the agreement has been finalised.
It appears that there will be overwhelming support, especially considering that influential members who could oppose it will be absent. However, they caution that the 5-day deadline for calling a vote will not be met.
