Multiple Injuries in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Building Fire Extinguished

The firefighters in Tenerife have successfully put out the fire that occurred on Tuesday in a residential building on Calle Góngora, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Six people needed medical attention as a result, with one person suffering from moderate smoke inhalation poisoning and the other five experiencing mild poisoning.

Multiple fire teams worked together to extinguish the fire and ventilate the common areas of the building.

The emergency services at 112 Canarias were alerted at 10.19 am and coordinated a response involving Tenerife Firefighters, Local Police, Canary Islands Emergency Service, and Civil Protection.

As firefighters tackled the flames, which originated in the kitchen of one of the homes, several residents were evacuated from the building.
