SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 2 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of four individuals sustained injuries of varying degrees following a collision involving multiple vehicles on the TF-42 near Garachico, Tenerife, according to information shared by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Centre.
At approximately 09.34 hours on Friday, the accident took place on the road and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) promptly dispatched personnel to the location. They confirmed that two men, aged 66 and 68, had sustained moderate injuries, without complications, and as a result, they were transported by ambulances to the Hospital del Norte.
Additionally, a 58-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were treated for minor neck and back discomfort, without complications, and subsequently transported to the Hospital del Norte in basic life support ambulances.
The Tenerife Fire Brigade members also arrived at the scene of the incident, secured the vehicles involved in the collision, and assisted paramedics in extricating one of the victims from inside a car.
Local Police officers maintained security in the area and collaborated with other emergency services. Meanwhile, the Road Maintenance Service staff from the Tenerife Island Council carried out road cleaning operations, and the Civil Guard officers oversaw the necessary procedures.
