A 22-year-old British individual has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition following an assault with a sharp implement during the early hours of the morning on Avenida Antonio Domínguez Alfonso, located in the municipality of Arona, Tenerife. This information was confirmed by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes).
The incident took place just before 6:30 a.m. when the 1-1-2 operations centre received a distress call reporting a man who had sustained injuries from a sharp weapon attack. Subsequently, Cecoes promptly mobilised the required emergency services.
Upon arrival, the personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided assistance to the wounded individual. Following stabilization, he was then transported via a medicalised ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital due to a severe abdominal wound. The National Police took charge of initiating the necessary procedures.
