SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 28 July (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 22-year-old man from the UK has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition after a sharp weapon attack in the early hours of this morning on Avenida Antonio Domínguez Alfonso, in the town of Arona (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes).
The incident took place just before 6:30 am when the 1-1-2 operations centre received a distress call for a man who had sustained injuries following an assault with a sharp weapon. Cecoes promptly deployed the necessary emergency services.
Upon arrival, medical staff from SUC provided aid to the injured man and, after stabilising him, he was transported by a medicalised ambulance to Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria due to a severe abdominal wound. The National Police handled the ensuing procedures.
