From land to water! A car has once again taken a dive into the waters of the Canary Islands. This time, unlike a few months back when a vehicle fell off a ship during the voyage between Gran Canaria and Tenerife, the incident occurred at the Port of La Estaca on the island of The iron.
The car belonged to an employee of a local maritime company, and due to the failure to properly engage the parking brake, the vehicle glided down the pier and ended up in the water. A powerful gust of wind was said to have played a role in pushing the car into the sea as the handbrake was not applied correctly.
Fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident. Onlookers pitched in and managed to retrieve the car from the seabed.
