Immediate review required at a care home in Garachico

The head of the Observatory of Social Rights of the Canary Islands (Odesocan), Emma Colao, declared yesterday the submission of a letter directed to the Department of Social Welfare of the Government of the Canary Islands urging an urgent examination to be conducted at the Hospital Residencia de Ancianos Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, in Garachico. This is due to the insufficient number of medical staff to ensure excellent service and maintain proper hygiene conditions.
