The Council of Tenerife is set to implement grade 2 precautionary measures starting this Wednesday as a response to the high risk of forest fires due to the predicted high temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees. These measures will entail a ban on overnight stays and camping in recreational areas, as well as a restriction on the use of motor vehicles on forest trails. The grade 2 precautions will be enforced from 7:00 am on July 24 until Monday, July 29.
