A male individual has been subjected to a brutal beating on the shores of Los Abrigos beach in Tenerife, reportedly in an attempt to steal a tourist’s wallet along the promenade.
Eyewitnesses have captured videos of the assault, which lasted several seconds. In the footage, the alleged thief is seen being dragged by the victim for several metres, eventually being taken towards the sea.
Surrounding onlookers either flee from the scene or attempt to shield their children from witnessing the violent altercation, with few actually intervening.
