The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, has expressed satisfaction with the arrest made by the Civil Guard of a resident of San Miguel de Abona who stands accused of three counts of forest arson. It is believed that this individual ignited a forest fire and attempted to start two others in the early hours of August 15, 2023, between the towns of Vilaflor and San Miguel de Abona.
