The State Meteorological Agency has issued yellow warnings for rough seas in Gran Canaria and Tenerife for this Monday, a day when temperatures will drop in some parts of the islands and the wind will blow moderately from the northeast with strong gusts occasionally in the southeast and northwest slopes.
The skies will remain cloudy on the north coast of the mountainous islands and to the west of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, while in the rest of the archipelago, it will be clear, as predicted by Aemet.
Regarding sea conditions, the wind will blow from the northeast, with occasional intervals from the northwest, with a force of 4 to 6, locally 7 in the north and northeast of El Hierro, southeast of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. There will be rough seas, locally very rough in areas of the central islands, and a northeast swell of one to two meters high.
