LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA, 21 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Last night, an unidentified woman sustained injuries after being part of a road accident on Teresa Panza Street, located in the La Isleta neighbourhood of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This information was provided by the Local Police and the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. The 1-1-2 operations room received a notification about a driver who had flipped over after hitting several parked vehicles. Consequently, Cecoes promptly mobilised the required emergency services.
Firefighters from the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Fire and Rescue Service, along with a basic life support ambulance and a medical ambulance from the SUC, and officers from the Special Night Unit (UNE) of the Local Police, responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, the officers conducted a breathalyzer test on the driver, which yielded a positive result. Subsequently, she was transported by ambulance to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria due to minor injuries. The firefighters took charge of stabilising the vehicle.
