The La Laguna City Hall will begin work to enhance and maintain the road surface starting this upcoming Monday, 22nd July. The Cuesta-Taco road.
These improvements are part of the initial phase of the project and are expected to take around one week, as per an announcement made by the City Council on Saturday.
The scheduled works in this first phase will concentrate on the stretch between the Ingenieros roundabout and the area near the La Cuesta tram stop, as it experiences a high volume of traffic throughout the year and shows significant wear at certain points due to this traffic load.
Specifically, in the coming days, the existing asphalt will be removed, and a new surface layer will be laid. All drainage covers and sewers in the vicinity will be checked to be replaced if necessary.
The La Laguna City Council’s Department of Public Works and Infrastructure is seeking maximum cooperation from residents to ensure the smooth progress of the works, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the vertical signs and following instructions provided by the workers.
Any alterations to access to garages in the area will be communicated by the contracted company as the works advance.
