The PSOE calls for public funding to remove cesspits in Tenerife

The aim of the proposal put forward by the Socialist Group to the Plenary Commission on Municipal Cooperation is to support municipalities in their efforts to eliminate cesspits on the island. This support will come in the form of public funding from the Council to facilitate the necessary connections that will divert household wastewater to sewage networks. Subsequently, the wastewater will be directed to treatment plants that have been constructed in recent years.
